His private shopper service was extremely popular and he expensively dressed over a dozen player characters in addition to a proportionally large number of NPCs. Huaisang also has an interest in investment and economics, as does Meng Yao, and both of them have been actively working on investment and economics since their first months in the game. This has been frequently played out and mentioned and has also come into play with other PCs: Huaisang has offered small investments or partnerships with other pending businesses (Insecurity, Falling Water Temple, Magic Bell) in proportion to his confidence in their business plan, and he has been also investing in NPC businesses and opportunities accordingly.

Plumage has been enormously successful with other PC characters, especially after the promotional event from the city, so he is paying back that business loan very rapidly. Paradise has only just opened but he would have funded that with partly his own funds and partly a loan from an NPC bank after proving his excellent credit (as discussed) and the thriving profit of Plumage.
